Oil on cradled gesso board. Iconic chairs found all over Paris. This painting is meant to symbolize a lost love with the chairs sitting in for the figurative element. Late Fall sunlight used to symbolize an eventual end and the Parisian setting to symbolize love. Almost a monochromatic painting with a little burst of blue showing thru the pillars.I like my "lost love" paintings to have small glimmers of hope.
